Trace and Company recently completed a multi-phase streetscape improvement along Main Street in Downtown Hendersonville. The project consisted of concrete sidewalk, waterlines, electrical and lighting upgrades, building façade improvements, brick paver crosswalks, landscaping and trees and asphalt paving. The project encompassed eight blocks in the heart of the City’s busiest commercial area. The high quality of their crews and the work installed were evident throughout the project. Trace and Company performed all of the work within budget and on schedule. Any change orders were owner-directed/requested.
Communication with the owner and with area residents and businesses is critical to a successful project, especially one that involves such a high concentration of businesses, residents and visitors. Trace and Company had constant open communication throughout the project and was always very responsive to the City’s and business owners’ needs. They went out of their way to work with merchants to minimize impacts to their business during construction.
